Bear Mountain Outfitters is an authorized Kershaw dealer in historic downtown St. Augustine. Kershaw lists over two hundred and fifty knives; these are thirty worth knowing — what each one is, how it opens, and how big it is. Thirteen of them are machined in Tualatin, Oregon, and say so on the card.

SpeedSafe is Kershaw's torsion-bar assist: start the blade with the flipper or the thumb stud and the bar carries it the rest of the way. Ninety-four of the knives Kershaw currently lists use it. Leek, Blur, Scallion and Chive are Ken Onion designs and sit in Kershaw's own Onion collection; the Cryo is Rick Hinderer's. Leek, Cryo, Misdirect and Conduit are on Kershaw's current Best Sellers list.

Ken Onion's 2003 design, and still the knife most people mean when they say “a Kershaw.” A needle-fine drop point on a slim steel frame, narrow enough to vanish in a pocket. Kershaw lists fifteen versions of it — more than any other model in the line.

No assist — these run on ball bearings or washers and, on all but the Lucha, lock with DuraLock, Kershaw's crossbar. Push the bar and the blade closes with either hand. Thirty-five knives in the current line use it. Iridium and Bel Air are Kershaw best sellers. The Lucha is here because it is a manual folder; it is nothing else like the rest of them.

Every automatic Kershaw sells is machined in Tualatin, Oregon. The Livewire is the only out-the-front; the Launches are side-openers fired by a push button on the handle. Kershaw currently lists twenty-two automatics, sixteen of them Launches — these five are a selection across the range.

A ten-inch recurve on a full tang, powdercoated and unfussy. This is the one for clearing a trail, not for dressing a deer.

A D2 drop point with a rubber-overlaid grip meant for cold, wet hands. Kershaw builds a caper and a gut-hook version on the same handle.

The Iridium reverse tanto with the folding mechanism taken out — Micarta scales, 2.4 ounces, and a sheath. New for 2026.

Grouped by what they are for rather than by how they open — the chip on each card names its own action. All three carry something besides a blade: a driver ground into the handle, a stored bit set, a carbide glass breaker.

A 2.4-inch blade, a flathead driver ground into the butt and a bottle opener in the handle. Kershaw groups ten knives under the Shuffle name, including the larger Shuffle II.

A folding knife with a quarter-inch bit driver built into the handle and four bits stored in the scale. Five ounces, and it replaces a small toolbox.
Assisted · rescue
Orange so it can be found in a footwell. A carbide glass breaker in the butt end and a cord cutter behind the blade that will take a seat belt.

Seven inches of flexible blade on a co-polymer handle, with a sheath. Kershaw has listed this fillet pattern since 1994; it also comes at nine inches.
Kitchen
The full-size chef's knife from Kershaw's kitchen line, 12.75 inches overall and 3.6 ounces. A block set, santoku, bread, utility and paring knife share the line.
